  What is a credit card ?

It is plastic Money which facilitates usage at specified places for making purchases, availing services and in case of emergency withdraw cash upto the limit specified for the card. The usage amount is to be repaid by due date either in full or opt for Rollover facility paying the minimum payment due.
 
  Types of credit card ?
We have Credit Cards of Classic, Gold, Platinum, Master, Master Card Electroin and Corporate Credit Cards and affiliated with VISA and Master Card International
 
  Where all can be used ?

It is accepted at all the Merchant establishments where VISA and Master card affiliation is displayed.
 
  I can Pay cash instead of using Credit Card ?

You get 20-51 days free credit when you purchase through Credit Card and pay by due date. BUY NOW PAY LATER.
 
  I am not convinced

Keeping huge cash is not always good and Withdraw cash only when it is essential. Use Credit card for purchase of goods, groceries, Bus Ticket, Railway Tickets, Flight Ticket etc and through genuine Website. You can also pay small amount towards TV Channel charges, Phone bills etc through your Telephone/Mobile.
 
  Whom to Approach to get a Credit Card ?

Any nearest Andhra Bank Branch where you have an account. Enquire the details and ask for an application.
 
  Can I get the Credit Card ?

If you have a Proven Income of more than Rs 1.80 lac in a year, you can avail the credit card.
 
  What is proven Income ?

An Assessee of Income Tax with a Permanent Salary Income or Business Income.
 
  What, if I have No Income Proof ?

We also issue credit card against your Term Deposit maintained at any of the Andhra Bank Branch while marking lien. Minimum Deposit amount is Rs 10,000/-
 
  Can I avail full amount of my Term Deposit ?

No only 75% of the Term Deposit is given as your card Limit.
 
  Oh No! In that case How it is different from a Deposit loan on my Term Deposit

1. Credit Card can be used for purchases with no interest from the day it is used
2. Withdraw cash at Andhra Bank ATM or other ATM. Charges apply.
3. Hassle free and any time purchase. Pay by due date with no service charges.
4. You get Interest on the Term Deposit without link to your purchases.
5. You can pay 5% of the bill amount under roll over facility. But the carry over balance attracts     Service charges
6. While you earn Interest on Deposit, you would still take back with you a substantial portion of     Deposit amount for usage through the card.
 
  Where to submit the application ?

Submit your filled in application with all details and relevant documents at the Branch where you have an account.
 
  What is a credit Limit ?

It is the maximum amount that can be spent or withdraw cash using your credit card. The limit is sanctioned as per the Income criteria.
 
  What is Add on card ?

An additional card issued to the children or parents of the main card holder while sharing the limits. All the usage and charges are billed to the main cardholder. To the extent of card limit, it can be used by all.

Card spent in a month with details and the amount is intimated by Monthly bill, E-Bill- soft copy to the E-mail ID indicating the Total bill amount, minimum amount payable under roll over facility, due date etc.,
 
  Roll over facility ?

A cardholder can opt to pay 5% of the bill amount only in a month and continue to enjoy the usage of remaining limit, while availing paying service charges at 2.50% per month.
 
  What is MPD (Minimum Payment Due) ?

It is 5% of the bill amount that may be payable in a month under Roll over facility. You can also pay more than 5% or full bill amount.
 
  Where to pay the bill amount ?

Credit card bill amount are received by cash, cheque or DD at all Andhra Bank Branches. Our credit card centres also collect Cheques and Drafts towards the bill amount. The address of credit card centre is mentioned in the bill.
 
  Can I pay it through ATM ?

Yes. You can pay only through Andhra Bank ATM using your Andhra Bank Debit Card after registering with your Branch.
 
  Standing Instruction

You can issue standing instruction at Andhra Bank Branch where you have an account. You may request for Minimum or full bill payment. The amount will be debited on due date.
 
  How about through my Net Banking ?

Yes you can pay using Andhra Bank Net Banking after registering for net Banking to pay online.
 
  How can I pay using MY Other Bank Net Banking ?

You can use NEFT (National Electronic Funds Transfer) facility to pay the MPD amount or Total bill Payment (For details see Payment Options).
 
  How to withdraw cash ?

After the card is sent to your postal address, you also receive a PIN separately that can be used for withdrawing cash at ATMs
 
  Whom to contact for making enquiries ?

You can contact our 24 hour Help Desk Toll Free Phone No-1800 425 4059 to enquire about balance outstanding, Card Limit used, details of transactions, PIN usage, Cash limit etc.,
 
  In case I lost or misplace the card

Do call immediately to our Help Desk and request to block the card. No need to remind, we send you the Replacement Card. A New PIN also will be sent separately.
 
  Can I tell PIN details to My Wife / Husband / Children / Friends / Colleqague ?

NO. You should never divulge your PIN to any one including your family members!
 
  Can I note down in my Dairy ?

No! Don’t’ write PIN number on the card, diary. Don’t feed even in Mobile, just memorise the PIN.
 
  In case of any dispute of Transaction

Please inform the dispute by sending Fax-040 2475 5052 or letter to the address: Andhra Bank, Credit Card division, Head Office, Koti, Hyderabad-500 095. We respond to you at the earliest. We provide details of transaction, retrieval of charge slips (at a cost) and raise any chargeback as per guidelines of VISA/Master dispute resolutions, after investigation.

As per RBI guidelines w.e.f.,01-November-2014 the number of free ATM transactions (inclusive of both financial and non-financial transactions) for savings bank account customers at other bank’s ATMs is reduced from the present five to THREE transactions per month for transactions carried out at the ATMs located in six metro centers viz., Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
