Andhra Bank has introduced two new Savings Bank Accounts with special features for Children alongwith facilities to avail alternate delivery channels viz., ATM Card, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking. “

Eligibility

Children in the below age groups are eligible to
open Minor Savings Bank Account –

AB LITTLE STARS –
10 yrs & above but less than 15 yrs

AB TEENS –
15 yrs & above but less than 18 yrs

Minimum Balance requirement

Operation in the Account

AB LITTLE STARS –
Accounts are to be operated by the Parent /
Guardian

AB TEENS – Children who can sign
independently can operate the account.

RTGS / NEFT Remittances

Only Inward remittances are allowed in these
accounts

Issuance of SB Pass Book with Photo

Exclusive Savings Bank Pass Book designed for
accounts shall be issued with Photo affixed on it.

Issuance of Specially designed
Withdrawal Form

A specially designed withdrawal booklet shall be
issued to the accountholders.

Facility for Self withdrawal from any of our
Branches on production of SB Pass Book / any ID
proof.
